It is a private limited company formed in August 2017, Pune. It is a manufacturing company where they processes Coconut Water and freeze it in packets of 200 ml. The unit is 2500 sq.ft. built up area with monthly rent of INR 40,000. The machines are custom made for the product to manufacture and process. Presently, they have one factory line setup of which one shift can make can 800 packets of frozen coconut water. The coconut water is not in concentrate form and it’s never heated and contains no additives/preservatives/sugar. During the process of manufacturing there are three products which comes from one coconut 1) Coconut water 2) Coconut Malai, 3) Coconut Shell. Using innovative freezing technique the coconut water is frozen into 200 ml packets. The Coconut Malai is also packed in different weight packets. The coconut shells are shredded and out of which coco peat and coco coir by products are removed. The coco peat is used in organic farming. Out of total revenue, average 30 percent comes from Coconut Malai sales. The Coconut Malai is supplied to ice cream manufacturer companies like Sujata Mastani ice cream, Khatri ice cream, etc. The target industry for frozen coconut water product is healthcare sector majorly. The frozen coconut water is supplied to many hospitals like Dinanath Mangeshkar hospital, Sancheti hospital, Oyster & Pearl hospital, Gynecologist Clinics in Pune, Sahyadri hospital, etc. On a retail basis, the company uses subscription model which can be ordered online for home delivery. The subscription is based on weekly and monthly basis. There are 8 employees in the company. One packet of frozen coconut water is INR 35. On average, coconut malai is priced at INR 300 per kg. The company wants to expand and grow by increasing manufacturing of frozen coconut water to 5000 units on a daily basis. The company wants to create brand awareness, market, advertise, in different tier cities. The total turnover from August 2017 to March 2018 was INR 15 lakhs. They are looking for INR 1 crore investment to scale up.
